Affirmation of Baptism
We are so proud of the 2021 Confirmation Candidates. Confirmation Sunday, October 17, 2021, marked the completion of our Congregations program for the confirmation ministry. It is a period of instruction in the Christian faith, as confessed in the teaching of the Lutheran Church. Confirmation includes a public profession of the faith into which the candidates were baptized.
We celebrate you 3 beautiful people: Isabelle Blazek (daughter of Troy & Sara Blazek), Trent Blazek (son of Travis & Krista Blazek) and Chase Schindel (son of Dale & Erika Schindel). We look forward to working with you in God’s vineyard. The angels are rejoicing.
Isabelle Blazek: Psalm 23:6 “Surely your goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.”
Trent Blazek: John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.”
Chase Schindel: Act 11:16 “And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said, John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
A reception was held in the Fellowship Hall with a cake & many family & friends.
Bibles were given to each student, along with cards & red roses from the Board of education. Jeanette Kootaka, Board of Education Secretary

A special thank you to Carol Jossie for her dedication in sharing her time and ministry talents with these confirmation students. You shared yourself and your love for God with our youth and YOU yourself have been a gift to Our Redeemer’s. When you volunteer to teach Confirmation, you are faithful to the promise to help raise our youth in the Christian faith.
