Worship Services
Christ has set the table more than enough for all. All are welcome to join us at his table. To keep people as safe as possible during the flu season, we have worship options: worship in the sanctuary, or on Facebook streaming for people who cannot make it to the church.
How we got started
We are a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA). The church was founded in 1895 by Danish immigrants. All are welcomed to worship and commune with us. Music is an important part of our worship service. We are a very rural congregation and are celebrating our 125 year anniversary in the year, 2021.
Mission
Lutheran World Relief has been around since 1945. The quilt and kit ministry are the largest running programs. Over these 80 years, the ministry has grown and expanded to reach many more people.
Our Redeemer’s women began making quilts in 1974 at the home of Lillian Mork. They gathered monthly. They answered God’s call to love and serve our neighbors.
This 2024 season, we are proud to announce our quilters made 39 quilts, 70 personal care kits and collected for transportation of these items. Thanks to all you generous folks who have passion and dedication for service to others. Also thanks to Thrivent for their grant.
